M.Sc Bioinformatics is a Masters course which specializes in the science of collecting and analysing complex biological data such as genetic infomations. Bioinformatics is a discipline at the interface between biology, computing, and statistics and is used in organismal biology, molecular biology and biomedicine. The program provides hands-on expertise in the essential multi-disciplinary fields of DNA sequencing, comparative genomics, genome annotation, analysis of mutations in cancer, analysis of the cellular organization, the discovery of new drugs and vaccines, molecular interaction networks, Agro-biotechnology that comprise the core of Bioinformatics.

Eligibility/Admission Criteria:

B.Sc/B.Sc (Hons.) /B.Tech /B.E/ B. Pharm/ B.VSc (Graduate in Science/Engineering/ Technology/Agriculture/ Medical/ Veterinary Science / Pharmaceutics) with a minimum of 50% marks (for unreserved/OBC category) and 45% marks (for SC/ST category).

Fee Structure

Tuition Fee = Rs. 13,000/ per semester + Laboratory Fee = Rs. 2000/-per year + University Fee (as per University rule per year)
