ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA-2023


DDUGU offers an abundance of programmes both in undergraduate and postgraduate streams.

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) or equivalent examination.

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) or equivalent examination in the Science stream (Maths group).

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) or equivalent examination in Science stream (Biology Stream).

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) or equivalent examination in any stream.

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) or equivalent examination in any stream.

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) (Agriculture) or equivalent examination in Science (Mathematics or Biology) stream.

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) or equivalent examination in Science (Mathematics or Biology) stream.

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) or equivalent examination.

Candidates who have passed (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 40% marks.

Candidates who have passed (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 40% marks.

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) or equivalent examination in Science (Mathematics or Biology group) with a minimum 45% marks for GEN/OBC and a minimum 40% for SC/ST.

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) or equivalent examination Science (Mathematics or Biology group) with a minimum 45% marks for GEN/OBC and a minimum 40% for SC/ST.

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) or equivalent examination in the Science stream (Maths group).

Candidates who have passed the (10+2) or equivalent examination.

In order to get admission in three years LL.B. programme, applicants of the General, OBC and SC/ST categories will have to achieve minimum 45%, 42% and 40% respectively in their final year examination (UG/PG) required for eligibility according to the rules of Bar Council of India. Admission process will be conducted according to the latest available criteria of BCI.

Candidates who have graduation or equivalent examination in any stream.

M.A.: Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Sociology, Political Science, Philosophy, Medieval and Modern History, Ancient History Archaeology and Culture, Defence and Strategic Studies, Visual Art, Performing Art, Education, Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Psychology: The candidate must have passed BA/ BSc from any recognized University, and he/she must also have passed the third year exam in the concerned subject.Admission in Post graduation (Arts and Science) first year would be given only in any one of the subjects opted in graduation (third year).

The candidate must have passed B.A./B.Sc. from recognized University and in Graduation (third year) he/she must have opted for Economics/ Maths/ Statistics as a subject.

Graduation in any stream with minimum 40% marks or equivalent grade from any recognised university.

Minimum qualification for admission in this programme will be as follows:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least 40% marks in any discipline with Physical Education as an elective subject upto final year from a University / institution recognized by U.G.C.
OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with at least 40% marks from a University / institution recognized by U.G.C.

M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Statistics, Defence and Strategic Studies: The candidate must have passed BA/B.Sc. from any recognized University, and he/she must also have passed the third year exam in the concerned subject.Admission in Post graduation (Science) first year would be given only in any one of the subjects opted in graduation (third year)

The candidate must have passed B.Com. from any recognized University.

  • Those candidates would be eligible who have passed BSc (life Science)/ BSc (Biology) from any recognized University. In Graduation (Third Year), the candidate must have opted for Botany/Zoology/Industrial Microbiology/Microbiology/Biotechnology.
  • Those candidates would be eligible who possess the eligibility mentioned in (a) above and also fulfil the following:
    • Candidates who are sponsored by the government institutions or public corporations or private institutions for admission in this programme.
    • Foreign students/non-resident Indians should have permission from the University for Admission in the above mentioned programme.

The candidate must have passed B.Sc. examination from any recognized University and have opted for either Physics or Electronics in the third year of Graduation.

The candidate must have passed B.Sc. examination in Science stream (Maths or Zoology group) from recognized University, and have scored minimum 55% (for Unreserved/OBC Categories) or 50% (for SC/ST Categories) marks.

The candidate must have passed B.Sc. (Home Science) three year/ four year programme from a recognized University.

The candidate must have passed B.Sc. examination from a recognized University in Science stream (Maths or Biology group)and have scored minimum 55% marks (for Unreserved/OBC Category) and 45% marks (for SC/ST category) Candidates. In Graduation (Third Year), the candidate must have opted for Botany/Zoology/Industrial Microbiology/ Microbiology/Biotechnology.

The candidate must have passed B.Sc. (Ag.) from any recognized University.

4. M.Sc. (Agricultural Entomology & Zoology)
5. M.Sc. (Agricultural Extension)
6. M.Sc. (Genetics & Plant Breeding)

Candidates who have passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./L.L.B. from recognized University or equivalent examination from any foreign University/Institute would be eligible. Those candidates would be given preference who have opted for Defence and Strategic Studies/Economics/ Geography/ Psychology/ International relations/Law/any one subject from Science stream in Graduation.

55% marks in L.L.B. is necessary in order to get admission in L.L.M. first year for the applicants of General and O.B.C. categories whereas this rule will not be effective in the case of S.C., S.T. applicants.

All graduates who have passed graduation degree with minimum 40% marks are eligible to appear for entrance exam.

Candidates with B.A degree with Home Science as a Compulsory subject OR B.Sc Home Science Degree either 3 year program OR 4 year program from any recognised university shall be eligible to appear in entrance exam.

Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks and at least participation in Inter-Collegiate/ Inter-Zonal/ District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU / IOA / SGFI / Government of India.

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks.
OR

Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 45% marks and study of physical education as compulsory/ elective subject.
OR

Bachelor's degree in any disciplines with 45% marks and having participated in National/ Inter University / State competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College / Inter-Zonal / District / School competition in sports and games as recognized by AIU / IOA / SGFI / Government of India.
OR

Bachelor's degree with participation in international competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National / Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by the respective federations/ AIU / IOA / SGFI / Government of India.
OR

Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years teaching experience: (For deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained physical education teachers/coaches).

For applicants minimum aggregated 50% marks or equivalent grade is required in any one of the following examinations;

  • B.Ed.
  • L.T.
  • B.A.B.E.d (Integrated)
  • B.Sc. B.Ed. (Integrated)
  • B.El. Ed.
  • Graduation with D.El.Ed

NOTE : This minimum percentage shall be relaxed by 5% in case of OBC, SC, ST, and DIVYANG (Physicall Handicapped) applicants

  • Aggregate percentage (theory+ practical) of following degrees and diploma shall be entered on application form
    • B.Ed.
    • L.T.
    • B.A.B.E.d (Integrated)
    • B.Sc. B.Ed. (Integrated)
    • B.El. Ed.
    • Only D.El.Ed (Not Graduation)
  • Candidates appearing in qualifying examination are not allowed to appear in M.Ed. Admission Test
  • Unlimited gap is allowed between qualifying examinations and attempt to M.Ed.
